Azerbaijan's AZCHEMCO is ready to establish the production of liquid fertilizers and agrochemicals in Turkmenistan using its proprietary technology, according to Report.
Speaking at the TESC 2024 forum in Ashgabat, AZCHEMCO's Vice President Rifat Sultanzada stated, "With AZCHEMCO's necessary technology, we can collaborate with our Turkmen partners to set up liquid fertilizer production in Turkmenistan. By investing in new production facilities in the brotherly country, the company plans to manufacture fertilizers based on liquid nitrogen, urea, and sulfur."
Sultanzada also emphasized AZCHEMCO's readiness to offer its technology for processing sulfur obtained from natural gas and converting it into raw materials for the company's production. This proposal takes into account Turkmenistan's vast natural gas reserves and substantial extraction volumes.
